I am a doctoral researcher dedicated to the intersection of high ability and neurodiversity. My work is driven by a simple belief: every child deserves to be understood. I started TwistED because I saw a major problem in our field—the “translation gap.” There is an incredible amount of research happening in universities, but it rarely makes it into the hands of the parents and teachers who need it most.

Most educational models focus on fixing deficits—what is perceived as “wrong” with a student. At TwistED, we believe that the environment should change to fit the child, not the other way around. My research focuses on how we can adapt our schools and homes to support neurodiverse excellence.

My mission is to take the best academic theories and turn them into practical tools. These tools help families and schools move toward a strength-based model. I am working to ensure that every multi-exceptional student is seen for their potential and supported in their challenges. By bridging the gap between university research and daily practice, we can change the educational landscape for the Mx community.
